Complete Kit includes everything that you need to build a high performing Cloud Chamber.  This Cloud Chamber is reusable an infinite number of times and is very effective at producing tracks even from the natural background radiation.  It only takes 10 minutes to assemble and you can be viewing the invisible world of radiation immediately.
The cloud chamber works by creating a supersaturated cloud of alcohol within the chamber.  The cloud forms because the air inside your chamber is holding the maximum amount of alcohol that it can.  When a detectable particle passes through the cloud, it disturbs the alcohol in its path causing the alcohol to condense along the particle’s path.  These are the vapor trails that are visible in your cloud chamber.

Your Cloud Chamber Kit will be shipped within 24 hours of payment receipt via USPS Priority Mail.
The alcohol, not included but required for operation, is available at any hardware store, drug store or grocery store.  The instructions outline several options that have been tested to work well.  Dry ice, also required (not included), can be purchased at many grocery stores or ice cream stores.
