Description
Set/4 Antique Persian Window Lattice Tiles–Circle Pattern.
Shown are 4 tiles placed next to each other to reveal the repeating geometric pattern, creating a circle. These window lattice tiles were used to form window openings in the Middle East. According to a British tile historian, they are from the late 19th century. The turquoise is well developed and indicates an early date. Each circle pattern tile measures 4 1/8 in. x 4 1/8 in. x 1 3/8 in. and weighs 1 lb. 2 oz.
These tiles are waiting to be incorporated into an Islamic Art style
architectural project. Perhaps in a garden? 100s available.
